According to the Association of Professional Animal Waste Specialists, "Dog feces is more than just a nuisance - It can pose a serious health hazard."

 Why? ....... A number of common parasites, including roundworm, are transmitted via dog feces. When infected dog droppings are left on the ground, the eggs of the roundworms and other parasites can linger in the soil for years. As a result, anyone who comes in contact with the soil also comes in contact with the infected eggs.

HOW IT WORKS

Pile Techs is a locally owned company that takes the headache out of picking up after your “best friend”.  We'll come to your house once a week or more frequently if you prefer, and remove the poop from your yard. If you have 2 or more dogs, you may want to consider 2 to 3 times per week.

From time to time it may be impossible to scoop every single pile. Obstacles such as tall grass, weeds, fallen leaves or braches, puddles, low hanging branches or bushes, loose non-solid feces, etc… may hide some piles. Pile Techs will maintain a high level of quality control and perform our very best at all times, however, if a sneaky pile gets over looked, let us know and we’ll make sure it is not over looked the following week. 

Pile Techs work on a Monday – Friday schedule during daylight hours. In some instances due to bad weather (rare in El Paso), we may need to reschedule your weekly scooping for another day during the week or in some rare instances on a Saturday or Sunday.  

PARVO ALERT:

Parvo is a virus that can remain infectious in ground contaminated with fecal matter for several months. Puppies are extremely susceptible to the virus. As a precaution – Pile Techs disinfects all of our equipment after each yard is serviced!! Your pets’ well-being is one of our primary concerns.

 You do not need to be at home during each scooping visit and your pet does not necessarily need to be restrained. However, if your pet is unfriendly or seems to be unfriendly around strangers it may be necessary to restrain, kennel, or have your pet inside during the scooping service. Pile Techs’ employees are animal lovers and pet owners as well and we are very confident we will establish a great relationship with your pet – however some safety precautions may need to be observed at the beginning.

 We require payment for the initial cleaning fee at the time we first service your yard. We can setup a monthly service at that time and require monthly payment in advance. If your service begins during the middle or end of the month, your first month’s service will be pro-rated and your service will then be billed at the 1^st of each month. Depending on payment method, we will leave an invoice on your door for the pending month’s service fee. If paying by credit card or automatic withdrawal, payment will be obtained accordingly.

If payment is not received by the 2^nd week of the month – you may not be placed on the route schedule and service will be placed on hold.

 Pile Techs recommends you check our work during the first few weeks to ensure we have cleaned all areas to your satisfaction. We will typically leave a card indicating we have services your yard. 

If you decide to go on vacation we will require notice indicating you do not want service that week. If no notice is provided – Pile Techs will perform our weekly schedule as normal.

Pile Techs reserves the right to refuse and/or discontinue service to anyone.
